Description An unusual silver and faux pearl brooch by the famous Charles Horner, known for his thimbles and hatpins. Charles Horner did manufacture a number of smaller brooches, usually in a Scottish design incorporating a thistle and set with a paste amethyst stone. This piece is altogether different from any of his brooches that I have come across. The hallmarks are stamped on the rear for Chester 1920 with his traditional CH for Charles Horner. Definitely a rare and unusual piece.
