Nuogang Ancient Village is a Dai village (Dai is one of the 14 ethnic minority in Yunnan) with a history of thousands of years. “Nuogang”(糯岗) means “the place where deer drink water” in the Dai language, It is part of the ancient tea garden in Jingmai Mountain. It is about 1,500 meters above sea level. The natural environment is very suitable for the growth of tea trees. Every household here grows tea.
