Large antique Japanese late Edo or early Meiji period cloisonne vase featuring an intricate pattern with a red-crowned crane, dragonfly and butterfly, surrounded by a myriad of flowers all around. Really beautiful piece of Japanese cloisonne and looks even more impressive in person! One dent with some losses under the crane’s foot. Some irregularities and small losses around the foot and underside of the rim as photographed. Displays great! Height: 34.5 cm / 13.5 inches
