Enamel Powder Compact by Stratton with Marcasite and Daffodils

Description Enamel powder compact decorated with hand painted daffodils surrounded by marcasite. Made by Stratton England, it has an art deco appearance but was likely made in the 1940’s or 50’s. The cream coloured enamel is in a perfect condition with no chips or cracks and all the marcasite stones are original. The inside of the compact is clean and the bevelled mirror is perfect. It has the original powder puff too which is marked with the Stratton logo. The compact measures 6.8cm square x 7mm deep. A very unusual and pretty collector’s item.
