Description A stunning Mille Fiori handblown paperweight by artist Peter McDougall. Manufactured in his glass studio PMcD Ltd in Scotland, he began his career in glass blowing with the Strathearn glass factory and then moved onto the Perthshire glass factory. His studio operated from 2002 to 2012, This paperweight has a symmetrical design of mille fiori canes of glass with a spiral star separating the canes in groups of 3. The base of the paperweight has Peter McDougall’s signature PMcD inserted in the glass below the original label (it’s good to retain this paper label). The paperweight measures 5.3cm in diameter and stands 4cm high. It’s in perfect condition and a fabulous item for paperweight collectors.
