Description Beautiful antique 15ct Gold Coral and Diamond Stick Pin. Set with 4 old cut Diamonds and a cabochon Coral that has natural inclusions. Dating from the mid Victorian period c1880-90, it measures 52mm long. The gold is unmarked but tests for 15ct which was a popular carat of gold used at this time. The diamonds are not of the greatest quality with evidence of carbon and flaws only visible through a 10x jewellers loupe. However, there is an amazing charm to the old cut diamonds as they weren’t intended to be highly faceted and brilliant. A lovely little item for collectors of stickpins.
