This is a call from the bottom of my heart,
My beloved people,
My family,
In my name and in the name of the United National Alliance,
In the name of the Alliance's societies, associations and various organizations,
In the name of what these institutions represent in the Syrian opposition for change,
In the name of all those fighting for change and progress in Syria,
In the name of all the above I address you, the great Syrian nation. I call upon you to preserve national unity. We are in dire need for unity because Syria is facing serious and imminent internal and external threats. The regime is failing to respond to any call for serious reform and our foreign enemies will have no mercy.
The regime has stood still for far too long. The regime, when it does act, spreads poverty, oppression and death. The regime caused, and continues to cause, great defeats for the nation. The regime is also unable to differentiate between right and wrong; it lacks wisdom and is hesitant to make decisions.
Dear Family,
The regime made the Syrian nation and people prey to hunger, death and occupation. The ruling elite are willing to cooperate with the nation's enemy, yet they are unwilling to do so with the people. The dangers we are facing are very serious and are unprecedented in our recent and earlier history. Everything is pointing to surrender and defeat. Our calls for reform fell on deaf ears and we were left with no option but to seek the removal of the regime through peaceful means. We expect the regime to play all its trumpets of lies and deceit. However, we have to shout together:
Liberty is our way to power and strength.

Repeat this slogan, hold to it, arrange your lines and columns and never look behind.
Shout it and achieve it and God will make you victors, you will achieve prosperity.
We vow that the people will regain powers.
I promise you on my part to live amongst you as an Unknown Soldier. I shall seek happiness in seeing you united and prosperous.
