Dr Refaat Al-Assad chairman of the United National Alliance for change and progress has made a call for a peaceful revolution in Syria, to overthrow the ruling regime.
He said unity was important, and asked Syria to remain stedfast in the face of internal and external challenges.
He's accused the Syrian regime of subversion and tyranny. He says they do not distinguish between right and wrong, and they lack both wisdom and political awareness.
Consequently, he says people in Syria are prey to hunger, humiliation and occupation. And in a final note Dr Al-Assad has promised to work with Syrians, to create a society of freedom, justice and welfare.
